dogs moved to Copenhagen, Denmark in January where her husband is the spokesman for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly. She started a communications com- pany, Bighorn Communica- tions, specializing in communications strategy, design and video production. Shane Plossu ’96 This past spring, Shane Plossu moved to a new apartment with his fiance, Jesse Levin ’98. The two were engaged on Feb- ruary 21, 2011 on a beautiful beach in Santa Barbara. They reconnected at the Prep Alumni Holiday Party in 2008 while

Mia Richkind ’96 Mia moved to Seattle in the fall of 2009 to start her graduate program at the University of Washington. She had to put singing on the back burner for a bit, but she’s graduating with her MA in Speech-Language Pathology, in August 2011. “I’m looking forward to starting my clinical fellowship in the fall doing speech therapy with chil- dren with autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, trau- matic brain injury, language delay, and other motor speech impairments. Additionally, through the rehabilitation cen- ter I’ve been interning at this summer, I’ll have the opportu- nity to start building my case- load doing voice therapy with transgender clients going through transition. And, I’m going to start singing again this fall. I’m looking forward to per- forming with the Gilbert & Sul- livan Society and Seattle Musical Theater Co. in the upcoming year!”


Liza (Abeles) Lutzker ’97 On May 24, 2010, Liza and Bobby welcomed Hazel into their lives. “She is an incredi- bly sweet and fun-loving baby, and she can’t wait to get back to Santa Fe soon for a break- fast burrito.”


Tommy Dunigan ’97 Tommy and Johanna are happy to announce the newest addi- tion to the family: Lola Lucia Dunigan was born on April 29, 2011, 8 lbs, 5 oz. She and her brother, Liam, are exactly two years and one day apart (they were coincidentally born at the exact same time, 8:04 am)! Tommy has been in the tech- nology sales field for the last five years and is the senior sales representative for MICROS, which is the leading restaurant point-of-sale software company


in the country. He sells high- end computer systems to restaurants, bars, and clubs. Tommy’s wife, Johanna, is an attorney specializing in per- sonal injury and immigration issues. She is also a fan of CUTCO cutlery.

Joseph Lewis ’97 Joe, Matt Lewis ’99, Michael Brito Stamm ’05, and Mike Lewis, competed in the Tough Mudder event in Austin, TX on January 29, 2011. They raised $4300 for Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for sick and terminally ill kids, for which Matt and Mike work. They fin- ished the run in 1:56 and had a Texas BBQ 30th birthday bash for Matt following.


Jose Lopez ’97 Jose started a new job recently with an agency called AWS, which provides a variety of services for individuals with developmental disabilities, resi- dential services, community- based integration services, adult rehabilitation and sup- portive employment. “We are a for-profit and a non-profit: we take all profits from the for- profit aspect of the company and donate them to the greater foundation, which is non-profit. Ira Thorpe ’97 (James) Parker Thorpe was born on May 15, 2011 and weighed in at 7 lbs. 1/2 oz. and 21” long. Mom and Dad are sleep-deprived but loving every minute of it. “We’re calling him by his middle name since that’s what my parents did to me.”
