Floral, funny and fantastic Lucilla Lavender is

renowned for a vast range of fl oral, hand painted designs with bags of femininity. Design

director Lucilla said: “We produce pretty, fl oral cards in a fresh and contemporary style. Some of our fl ower designs nod to the past, but their abstract, painted style brings them up-to-date and makes them a little different. Both pattern and a single image can work well for us. I love fl owers and so do most women, so why change a formula that works?” Their designs are not all of a fl oral nature. One of the best selling

cards has a cupcake theme and the design is fresh and bright. Butterfl ies and hearts also feature strongly. The humorous collection ‘Love Flossie’, taps into phrases for women, picking up on the language they use. And Life Lines, a hugely successful range, refl ects the things that women love in their lives, poking gentle fun at, for instance, their enjoyment of shopping and treats such as wine and chocolates.
