Mark Chopko, a partner at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young in Washington, D.C., served as General Counsel for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for over 20 years, and during his tenure he participated in over 30 Supreme Court cases. He has published more than 50 articles on topics including church-state affairs, bioethics, education, and liability issues. Currently, he is the chair of the Nonprofit and Religious Organizations Practice Group for Stradley Ronan, and he serves as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University.
