“I am an experienced guitar player and my jaw dropped at some of the things these players could do. No one should miss this show if guitar is a part of their life in any way.” (Ed Smith, CFTA patron)

Brian Gore is a man on a mission. 42

He wants to share his guitar artistry and that of his best guitar-playing friends with the world. To that end, he formed the International Guitar Night back in 1995 as a forum for the world’s finest guitarists/ composers to play their latest original songs and share musical ideas with their peers in a public concert.

“Wow!!! My jaw hurts this morning from having it drop open all evening with amazement. My back hurts this morning from leaning forward to see if I was imagining what was going on in front of me. My hands hurt this morning from clapping like a mechanical monkey! This performance was a marvel!” (Ruth Ebsary, CFTA patron)

They bring their music-making prowess to the Centre for the Arts, Brock University on Nov. 23.

This is not the first time Brian has brought a group of guitarists to Brock. In fact, this will be his third visit to the centre.

Brian loves the venue, adding "we’re excited and honoured to be coming back; we wish we could come back every year!"

“We were in absolute guitar nirvana! Each guitarist's performance

perfectly captured and showcased the diversity of backgrounds and genres of music represented and then fused them into a musical mandala of aural perfection.” (Sandra Zandvliet, CFTA patron)

His audiences likely feel the same way, as they share the music making in an intimate setting that belies the relatively large size of the theatre.

Brian notes there are not many venues like the Sean O'Sullivan Theatre, and although the size is quite large, the audience doesn’t lose any intimacy because of the seating arrangements.
