Richard “Ricky” Flynn ’09, ’11 M.B.A. is an avid runner. Some of the most recent races in which he has partici- pated are the Ukrops Monument Avenue 10k in Rich- mond, Va., the Raleigh Relays Invitational hosted by NC State, and the Holton Elementary 5k, a road race in Richmond, Va. Ricky is currently working at Riverside Runners in Lynchburg, Va., where he also lives.
Thomas Field ’11 M.Ed. has passed the National Counselors Exam (NCE) and is now eligible to become a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. His graduate degree is in clinical mental health counseling. Thom lives in Lynchburg, Va.

Christopher “Chris” Whelan ’00, ’02 M.Ed. to Lindsey Welch on August 7, 2010 at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, Colo. The couple honeymooned in Aruba. Chris is the owner of Overtime Athletics and is the boys head varsity basketball coach at Herndon (Va.) High School. The couple resides in Reston, Va.

Anne Gibbons, LC associate chaplain, officiated. The couple honeymooned in San Diego, Calif. Ally is the assistant director of alumni relations at Lynchburg College, and the couple lives in Lynchburg with their dogs, Sara and Willow.
Shauna Manias ’10 to Stuart Saunders on June 18, 2011 at Bedford Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bedford, Va. Jonathan “Brent” Lester ’14 was a member of the wedding party. Shauna is a teacher assistant at Otter River Elementary in Goode, Va. The couple honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the Bahamas and currently lives in Lynchburg, Va.

To Thomas “Tom” White ’95, ’01 M.Ed. and wife Kelly, a daughter, Kensie Ashley, born May 24, 2011. She joins big sister Riley Charlene, age 3. Tom is the director of federal department of defense and civilian inside sales at McAfee, Inc. in Reston, Va. The family resides in Leesburg, Va.
