How long? One year


What do I need? You will need either:


Successful completion of a Foundation Learning programme including Functional English at Level 1, or


Four GCSEs at Grade D or above including English Language or equivalent.


What will I study? Four core units including:


• Exploring business purposes • Business organisations • Financial forecasting for business • People in organisations.


You will also complete up to eight additional units*, for example:


• Verbal and non-verbal communication in business contexts • Customer relations in business • Personal selling in business • Consumer rights • Business communication through documentation • Business online • Starting a small business • The marketing plan.


What can I do next?


With an overall Merit in the Level 2 Diploma you can progress on to Level 3 programmes in Business.

How long? Two years


What do I need? You will need either:


Four GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English Language), or


ILEX Level 2 Diploma in Legal Studies qualification at Distinction, or,


An alternative Level 2 qualification at Distinction plus GCSE English Language (or equivalent) at Grade C.


After four weeks’ initial assessment, students will be selected for one of the two Level 3 Law pathways:


• Standard Law (one year) or • Enhanced Law (two years).

What will I study? • BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Applied Law • Level 3 Diploma in Citizens’ Rights • Tutorial.


What can I do next? Progression to the ILEX Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice.
