INTERACTIVES
Client: National Museums Northern Ireland
Project: Interactives
Location: Ulster Folk & Transport Museum
Description: Design, construction and installation of lo-tech interactives.
Following a brief supplied we created and built several interactives in a very tight timescale.
These included a model train to demonstrate the different wagons used to carry freight, a spinning interactive with questions and answers and a morse code interactive.
All the interactives were designed for accessibility and they scored highly on a recent audit carried out at the museum.
We supplied several interactives for the refurbished Wheels of Business gallery. These included a sound interactive (above) where visitors can dial a number on an old style telephone to hear someone talk about making deliveries in the 1950s and 60s. A flip book containing transcripts of the audio sits next to the telephone.
