SLIDERS UK LAUNCHES NEW COMPOSITE DOOR RANGE

Leading patio, bi-folding door and vertical sliding window manufacturer, Sliders UK has launched a new range of stylish, secure PVCu composite doors and fire doors. With this latest range, retailers, installers and fabricators have the flexibility to choose either complete doorsets or prepped door blanks & kits, choosing from a wide selection of door designs and woodgrain effect colours. Sliders UK customers can also benefit from reliable service and free nationwide delivery.

Sliders’ complete doorsets are fitted with a choice of high quality door

furniture and contemporary glazing designs. Prepped door blanks & kits can be supplied with or without glazing cassettes and Sliders offers a huge range of hardware prepping options to suit virtually any standard specification.

In addition to this, all Sliders UK composite doorsets and door blanks are supplied edge-banded with an authentic woodgrain effect. As well as providing optimum aesthetics, this feature also offers customers better thermal performance than doors fitted with alumunium edge closures. Moreover, in line with all Sliders UK product ranges, these new composite doors have been designed to provide property owners with ultimate security. Working with industry leading suppliers, Sliders offers not one but three high security multi point locking systems, each with different selling features but no price differential. All complete doorsets are fitted with kitemarked, anti-bump, anti-snap, highest Level 3 cylinders as standard

High security locking options include the Fullex 3 Deadbolt Crimebeater; the Winkaus Trulock with its enhanced tensile steel hook design; and the exciting new, feature-packed ‘Secure Escape’ compliant Securistyle Defender door lock in austenitic stainless steel for truly exceptional corrosion resistance.

Sliders UK also stocks and supplies a further three specialist lock solutions,

including the NHBC specified Fullex Crimebeater with additional mid-lock (or holiday lock) which prevents the door bolts being released even if the cylinder is compromised, the Winkhaus AV2 lock for fire doors and the new Securistyle Autolock.

To give customers further peace of mind, fire door manufacture has already been assessed (Exova report 309443) and testing for Secured By Design is underway. Sliders UK also offers the choice of the latest Nan Ya or ODL glazing cassette system. With competing features and aesthetics, the ODL system allows the glass units to be easily replaced without damaging the door cassette or door.

Ian Longbottom, Co Founder and Joint Managing Director of Sliders UK, comments: “As well as being stylish and secure, our new composite doors are also very thermally efficient and are fully compliant with Part L Building Regulations. When professionally installed, our complete doorsets will easily achieve U values lower than 1.6W/m2.K and some as low as 1.0Wm2.K. Sliders UK is registered with Buildcheck which means we can produce U value calculations for every door made.”

Sliders UK Composite Doors are available as standard in white, red, black,

green, blue, light oak, mahogany, golden oak or rosewood, as well as a choice of RAL colours for painted options. A selection of high quality door furniture in white, gold, black, satin chrome or smoke chrome is supplied as standard and low aluminium / wheelchair thresholds are also available.
