BIG BEERS

Whoever says size doesn’t matter didn’t tell the brewers at Bells and Founders. The premier Michigan craft brewers each rolled out a new series of special, limited edition 750 ml beers this summer. Bells debuted the Eccentric Café 750 ml bottle series in June with its Wedding Ale, which is brewed with honey, co- riander and orange peel. In early July, Founders released the first of its Backstage Series of 750 ml beers: Blushing Monk, a Belgian raspberry ale. Bells only sells the big beers in its company store, while Founders sells theirs at the brewery store and through retail distribution.
