Hart Care Nursing & Residential Home is a beautiful dual registered Care Home set in lovely grounds with
spectacular views over Dartmoor and its Tors. Since the new owners Richard & Stephen Hart have taken over back in December 2010 there have been some major refurbishments which have resulted in a complete transformation of the Care Home and the services provided.
We have an experienced team of nurses and care assistants who deliver 24 hour holistic care to all the residents. The majority of the bedrooms are en-suite and there is a choice of relaxing lounges and dining areas. We have regular resident meetings and this influences the activities on offer, which incorporates everything from musical entertainers, gentle exercise, quizzes, film afternoons and day trips which are enjoyed by everyone. This ensures that residents retain their independence and quali- ty of life. The home also has regular visits from a physiotherapist, hair- dresser & chiropodist.
Hart Care offers both long term nursing and residential care along with respite, convalescence and palliative care.
The feedback from existing & new residents, families and support teams has been very positive and we would like to encourage people to come and visit us at any time that you find convenient.
If you would like to visit the Care Home please call Sue or Richard on 01822 853491.
