Core Brief From: Tony Spotswood, Chief Executive

The date of the Trust’s next Open Day has been set for 25th May 2011, between 10am and 4pm in the atrium at RBH.

The Open Day is a fantastic opportunity to promote the Trust and showcase the services we offer.

We have a number of internal exhibitor stands to allocate to departments on a first come first serve basis. We ask that all stands have an interactive element where members of the public can get involved, for example a fun quiz. A prize will be awarded to the two most interactive stands.

If your department is interested in having a stand, then please email Andrea Smithson,

at andrea.smithson@rbch.nhs.uk. A stand request form will then be sent to you to complete which asks for information about how you will be making your stand interactive as well as details of your requirements, such as electrical points, etc.

Please ensure that all requests for stands are emailed to us by 5pm, Friday 4th March 2011.

Consultant presentations will also take place throughout the day in the Chapel. Details of these talks will be printed in the next edition of Core Brief.

If your department is successful in being allocated an exhibitor stand, and you need design help in terms of posters or leaflets, please

1 Asthmatics and those suffering with respiratory disease.

2 Pregnant women.

3 People aged 65 and older. 4 Young children under five. 5 Diabetics.

6 People who have a history of heart disease.
