and what bartenders are currently excited about, is a wonderful new-generation gin that comes from the Nolet family. This is NOLET’S Silver, known as the new face of

gin because it’s been crafted to reflect the tastes and preferences of a new generation of gin drinkers. It’s a very special and spirited spirit with refreshing and floral fruit-forward flavors that highlight a quite unique combination of botanicals (that the brand owners tell me have never before been used in gin). What are they? The precise ingredients are a family secret, of course! However, the discerning palette will detect Turkish rose, peach, and raspberry, as just some of the exotic ingredients. Interestingly, this undeniably modern take on gin is the

result of a collaboration between eleventh generation sons Carl Jr. and Bob, and their father, Carolus Sr., tenth generation distillery owner. This family is amongst the aristocracy of distillers, having founded their distillery as far back as 1691 in Schiedam, Holland, from where their business still operates.
