Not familiar with community access television or BCAT TV Network? A quick lesson:

Community access television is the First Amendment in action and is easily found by using your TV’s remote control. It is a unique opportunity for Brook- lynites to exercise their right to share their voices on the same platform used by mainstream media.

Our BCAT TV Network is avail- able in every Brooklyn cable subscriber’s home and pro- gramming is seen by hundreds of thousands of the borough’s

residents. Currently, BRIC ca- blecasts hundreds of unique programs each week produced by Brooklynites on the BCAT TV Network (Cablevision 67–70; Time Warner 34, 35, 56, 57; RCN 42–45 and Verizon 82–85).

Brooklyn residents who air programs on our Brooklyn chan- nels are not charged a fee to play shows on our channels and take full responsibility for all content they air.

Community access television is truly television for the people, by the people.
