Spring 2011

I once wanted to see the time fly, I wanted to see it fly by! So I picked up my clock, hickory, dickory dock! I ran up to my room, with a quick little zoom!

When I ran what a show! I opened the window. I threw my clock, hickory, dickory dock!

I got to see the time fly and the time flew right on by!

Jonathan Palermo Grade 4

Imagine: Vast open fields Surrounded by white pickets.

Tan stallions bolt around gracefully. Petite fawns frolic about.

When a dream is the truth

And you’re caught in your own reflection You crumble beneath your wings of selfishness

Vanessa Zimmerman Grade 8

The aroma of the green blades of grass Put me in a dreamy state.

This magical place is my love. This is where I feel at peace.

A feeling of serenity washes over me Like I have fallen into a dream. The horses calm me

Like a mother to its infant.

As the sun smiles down over the pasture, I realize…I am home.

Justine Cornelius Grade 9
