“Thumbs down to the owners of the house on the corner of Applewood Road and Ponderosa Drive in Pelham. Besides being an eye sore, that bush on the corner of your property is a safety hazard. People coming up Ponderosa to the stop sign at Applewood, cannot even see to the right on Applewood when pulling out. It was always an eyesore and a hazard before you moved in, and it continues to be. Please trim it way down or get it out of there, or someone is going to have an accident. Thank you!”

“Thumbs down to Boo Boo Bear, you take exception? You are an exception. Boo hoo. Why are you a Selectman? Resign you useless POC. Should I send you a text or call your goober cell phone, or nit twit you. That’s how to communicate baby. You do not care one bit about any of the people in Pelham. I was with you when you voted against the fire station, you hipo- crit. Shave that goofy goatee or stop scratching it at meetings.”

only way to communicate with all of Pelham, Good or Bad. Let the people then weed through the input. Just like a stock, do your research. ‘Thumbs up’ to the new Fire House that will show up in this years’ budget. ‘No’ doesn’t mean ‘no’, it means watch what we can do. Get ready for the tax hike. money on very nice home improvements. From house painting to new additions, to fresh pavement along with new roofing, windows or landscaping. Even better many new families bought new homes and moved into Pelham this year. Local businesses improved their facilities and many new businesses moved into our community. Our beautiful community is not in the dire straits ‘they’ would want you to believe.”

Hockey Coach Jennifer Resmini for earning a win in her first game by guiding the Astros to a 1-0 road victory against the 2010 State Champion Winnacunnet Warriors on August 31.”
“Thumbs down to drivers not paying attention to the school buses. Flashing lights and a stop sign mean stop. For the second time in only two days cars have sped past while my daughter was getting ready to cross the street. Pay attention and stop before you run over someone’s kid!”
“Thumbs down regarding the article in your
August 26th issue regarding the employees at Recycling Center in Pelham, NH. We have lived here for the past twenty-four years and have never had a problem with anyone who is employed there. Not only are they courteous and pleasant, they are always right there to help you with your recyclables and rubbish disposal. I think the person who wrote that article should take a good look at themselves in the mirror and maybe they will see it’s not the employees who are rude and ignorant, but it’s them.”
developer who is bulldozing the wetlands next to the beautiful Windham rail trail. It would have been respectful, considerate and kind to have kept back a few hundred feet to protect a natural area enjoyed by so many people.”

“Thumbs up and thank you to all the children and their families who ride bus 379 in Pelham. Last year was a great year, I appreciate everything you did for me and look forward to a great year again this year. Thanks again your bus driver, Mary.”
“Thumbs down to Merck, the pharmaceutical company pushing the HPV vaccine Gardasil on our daughters ages 9-26 (available to boys now but not covered by insurance). It hasn’t been tested long enough which means our daughters are being used as guinea pigs to see if there’ll be any long-term side effects. Some side effects already reported after receiving the Gardasil vaccine include fainting, fatigue, paralysis, autoimmune disorders, seizures, blood clots, DEATH, babies born with defects, and miscarriages. Make your own decision, but please research as much as you can on the HPV vaccine Gardasil before you do.”

“Thumbs up. Remember when during the weekends, it was a treat to go into Boston to see the sights? I have such fond memories of going to Faneuil Hall, the Theatre, Chinatown, or a walk through Harvard Yard. Now, however, with the increasing atrocities by illegal aliens and the refusal of Massachusetts Government’s to enforce existing law, Boston and all Massachusetts is a dangerous place. ‘Thumbs down’ to Massachusetts politicians for making the state dangerous!”
“Thumbs up to the residents of Pelham and the summer of 2011. This summer we noticed many homeowners in many neighborhoods spending
“Thumbs down to all businesses, including department stores and restaurants, for allowing people to smoke at the entrances and parking lots of their establishments. Innocent patrons are being subjected to inhaling secondhand smoke. The whole purpose of antismoking laws is for customers to not be exposed to this cancer-causing element inside or outside of establishments.”
“Thumbs up to the Republican majorities in the New Hampshire legislature. Figures released by the Department of Administrative Services show that, for the month, the state took in $9.6 million in more than plan, led by business taxes, which were 34% higher than planned. For the year, the state is now $5.1 million ahead of revenue estimates thanks to their budget.”
“Thumbs down- Pelham Landscaping owner who drives the white truck...turn your cell phone off and learn to drive. Do your job right and make your calls from your home office not from the road, its rude to pull over in front of driveways and sit there for a long time and just talk on the phone why don’t you paint your nails too while your at it...”
“Thumbs down. Pathetic the way some dwellings in Pelham
are just left to rot into the ground. Our officials obviously don’t care one bit as long as they don’t have to look at them. Route 111A has more than it’s share of ugly abandoned buildings. Nothing changes! The rodents must be happy though. I guess Pelham pride doesn’t apply in that situation.”
“Thumbs down to the PWN for putting in an ad saying there is a better way, puppies for sale. Area News Group, you are just encouraging backyard breeders to pump out unhealthy puppies. You are disgusting!

“Thumbs down, double ‘thumbs down’ to the heartless idiot who put a beautiful cat into a cardboard box, sealed it, and threw it into the dumpster outside Hannaford’s market. Fortunately the poor frightened animal was rescued by a young girl and hopefully will find a good home. I’m sure there is a place in **** for you.”
