hese words seem particularly relevant, as the sentencing of self-help guru James Ray is taking place in California. James was found guilty of “negligent homicide.”
How did Ray, who was cast in the Law of Attraction movie The Secret, attract the deaths of three participants in his sweat lodge during a October 2009 Spiritual Warrior event? Many conclude that he simply did not practice the universal principles of the

Law of Attraction in his own life. That is not what happened. Ultimately, the James Ray trial says plenty about the truth of the Law of Attraction and Ray’s practice of it. I will illustrate it through the stories of my personal experiences with Ray, and in my own life. Please note, this is based on my personal experience and opinions, and does not necessarily represents others experiences of him.
In this article I want to “shed light” on how we can attract darkness, and the importance of being aware of how to interface with both light and darkness in our lives. If we do not develop the relationship with darkness, we may not know how to look for signs that we are walking into it.
