Starting and growing the ISyE contribution THE FOCUS: It is not uncommon for the role and potential contribution of industrial and systems engineering to be misunderstood and hence undervalued. Often this is a function of industrial and systems engineering (ISyE) leadership not positioning the role effectively, allowing the role and contribution to be marginalized.


THE BEST-IN-CLASS WISDOM: There are a number of organizations that have had tremendous sustained success at tapping into the full potential of ISyE, and there are lessons to be learned from those organizations and ISyE leaders. This conference taps into several members of the Council on Industrial Engineering to bring you some pragmatic best practice tips on how to ensure that the ISyE role and contribution achieves full potential.

FORMAT: The conference has been designed with you in mind.


ƒ One-day format: Arrive Sunday night, then head home Monday afternoon.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS


Upon request, IIE will award continuing education units (CEUs) to participants who attend the educational sessions and complete the CEU request form. The Institute of Industrial Engineers has been reviewed and approved as a certified provider of continuing education programs by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.
