8 OPTIONS SEPTEMBER/DECEMBER 2011 Trinity A level pupils score top marks:
PUPILS at Trinity School in Teignmouth have been celebrating outstanding results, four of them getting 100 per cent scores in their A2 papers this year.
Best performances included Jamie Isaac-Richards with full marks in both of his A2 Psychology modules and Vincent Fung with four A* and A grades. Both will be going to London University, Jamie to study English and Vincent, Biomedical Science.
Sam Homer got a string of A* and A grades and will be studying Architecture in Nottingham. Serena Gosden’s A grades will enable her to study Engineering at Cardiff, whilst the combination of national level sporting achievement and top class grades means that Rhiannon Depla will be able to study Physiotherapy in Northumbria and Beth Camp, Nutrition and Psychology at St Mary’s in London.
The Head of Sixth Form, Mark Acher was delighted,
saying: ‘We have seen a crop of excellent results from our high flyers this year with many pupils taking up places in the elite UK universities.
DIGITAL - FOR THE BEST
SOUND EVER!
‘EVERYTHING’S digital!’ At least, that’s what we seem to hear these days, and a good thing too. Digital Keyboards and Pianos give the best sound
ever, with amazing flexibility. You can sound like Status Quo or any other band you care to mention, all on your own at the touch of a button.
With digital recording you can build up a whole symphony on your own or play a piano concerto with the orchestra.
Things have certainly moved on apace over the last 15 years or so and prices are cheaper now than then; while quality and performance have dramatically improved beyond recognition, there’s never been a better time to buy a keyboard.
