Dracut answered that with a TD of their own and for the first two quarters the teams went one for one. With nine seconds left in the quarter Dylan Ragonese threw a 60-yard touchdown to Calistro to end the half. At the start of the third Dracut’s quarterback stunned the Steelers with a 50-yard keeper up the middle. Sheets of rain leveled the playing field and the game became a test of wills on both sides. Luke Tracy led the Steelers running game in the second half with two touchdowns and nearly 100 yards on the ground. Defense held Dracut at bay and the boys in black and yellow came away with a big home opener win 33-25. Football is a team sport and winning is through the efforts of all.
