And the winner is.... Submitted by Donna Nardi

Congratulations to the following Bostons who successfully pulled their owners away from watching their favorite sports event, family barbeques, and other pressing obligations to brave the summer traffic and allow them to strut their stuff in the confirmation ring.

GCh Margrave Theodore of Grandview walked with Best of Breed honors in Maine 6/23, 6/25 and 6/26. June 25th was the big day, as Theo coupled his BOB win with a Group 2 placement! Theo wisely concentrated his efforts in New England and again took BOB honors in West Spring- field, MA on 7/9, and in Vermont on 7/14, 7/15, 7/16, 7/17, and again on 8/13/11 at the Bennington KC show in Ballston Spa, NY.

Theo’s proud owner Angie MacFarland was at the

other end of the lead for all of her boy’s wins, while Nana Mary MacCollum was content to relax and get the news by telephone. As a result of his wins, Theo is now officially a “Grand” Cham- pion, qualifying him to compete at the Eukanuba Invitational Show this December in Orlando, Florida.

Menotomy Margrave A Hull of A Guy a/k/a McGee, has been working hard racking up points in the classes. McGee was awarded WD points in Topsfield, MA on both days of the show: 6/18 and 6/19. McGee is owned, loved and shown by Ginny O’Connell who was very proud when he took WD as well as a Bred by Exhibitor Group 4 placement at the Glens Falls KC show on 8/11.

Lady Ga-Ga, Diamond and Sellano’s Bad Romance also racked up points towards her championship when she was awarded WB points at the Topsfield, MA show on 6/19 and again in Maine on 6/26. Ga-Ga was allowed a little time off while Mama Nicole gave her a bit of a summer recess.

GCh Luckystar First Moon of Saturn a/k/a Titan has been a busy boy and giving his breed competitors a run for their money. Titan was awarded Best of Breed honors in Yorktown Heights, NY on 6/10 and 6/12. Titan topped off his Best of Breed wins with a Group 2 placement at the Saratoga KC show in Ballston Spa, NY on 8/10 and an additional Best of Breed win on 8/25/11 at the Northwestern CT Dog Club show in W.Springfield, MA. Congratulations to the Comstocks on these wonderful wins, as well as all of the points Titan has racked up being chosen as Select Dog in several shows over the past three months.

GCH Diamond Cejay’s Night at Casablanca was awarded Best of Breed honors at the Wampa- noag KC show in Wrentham, MA on 7/3 and repeated her winning performance in Fitchburg, MA on 8/20. Congratulations to Babette and her proud owners, Chris and John Procaccini and Donna Nardi. Although already a GCh, Babette continues to rack up points in her many BOS and Select Bitch placements over the past summer.

Babette’s baby boy, CJ Jacob’s Wirth grabbed some points in the classes when he walked off with WD honors on 7/2 at the Hockamock KC show in Wrentham, MA, on 7/9 at the Farmington KC show in W. Springfield, MA, and finally on 8/21 at the Fitchburg, MA shows. Much to Mama Chris’s dismay, Jake’s favorite pastime while showing is watching the doggies in the next ring go around and around.

Welcome back to the Boston ring Christine Scarpino who showed her new baby girl, Sagebrush Razzle Dazzle for Whalom to garner WB honors at the Fitchburg show on 8/21. We look forward to having you back with us the shows Christy.
