Come join us at the 13th Annual Pet Rock Festival will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester

from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $13 for adults and $5 for kids under 12.

Minuteman Boston Terrier Club has a booth, so come out, bring your friends, and enjoy a beauti- ful day of celebrating pets!

It is with a heavy heart that I share some very sad news with the membership. Linda Thomas, long time club member, co-editor of the Boston Beacon, friend to many, and constant lover of Boston Terriers, passed away Wednesday, August 17th 2011 after a lengthy illness.

She will be missed by many. Meeting Notice!

There will be a general meeting for the Minuteman Boston Terrier Club on Saturday, September 17th 2011. It will be held at Jim and Jason’s motorhome at the Cape Cod dog show, at 2:00pm. (We reserve the right to change the time slightly to accommodate a potential Best of Breed winner going into the group competition)

There will be a Board of Director’s meeting immediately following this.

Extract from the By-Laws Article IV, Section 4C: “Additional nominations may be made at the September meeting by any member in good standing in attendance provided that the person so nominated does not decline when his or her name is proposed and provided further that if the proposed candidate is not in attendance at this meeting, his or her proposer shall present to the Secretary a written statement of acceptance from the proposed candidate. No candidate shall run for more than one position.”

Minuteman’s Annual Meeting!

Held October 8th 2011 at the Days Inn (held at the Specialty Show) 30 minutes after completion of judging!

We’ll have a quick meeting with election of officers. It’s a great excuse to make sure you come to the show! See you there!

They oughta be in pictures! The Minuteman Website is being transformed! Our web master extraordinaire, Fernanda, is doing a fantastic job, but she needs your help!

She’s looking for pictures of member’s cute and cuddly bostons to include on the website. Please forward them along to her at

The officers and BOD members of the Minuteman Boston Terrier club give a huge “Thank You” to Nicole Pollack, who volunteered to help and make sure we had a Beacon to go out in August. Thank you Nicole for your work!
