The graphic opposite shows the relationship between our goal set out in the Statement of Intent for East Lothian and our priorities for SOA 2011. The key words highlighted in the Statement of Intent have become five cross- cutting themes for all 14 East Lothian Outcomes which all Theme Groups are responsible for incorporating into their approach to delivery. Each East Lothian Outcome shows the short-term outcomes identified to achieve it and also the Scottish Government’s National Outcome(s) 2


to which it contributes. 2


The Scottish Government established 15 National Outcomes which it wants to achieve over 10 years and which all Single Outcome Agreements address
