Shark Night 3-D A group of friends go on holiday to an island surrounded by fresh, and, what they think is safe, water. But to their dismay, they discover that the lake is filled with hundreds of flesh- eating, human-hungry sharks. The film stars Sara Paxton, Dustin Milligan and Chris Zylka.

Contagion Steven Soderbergh directs an ensemble cast as they deal with a deadly disease that spreads swiftly and kills quickly. The film focuses on virus-carriers (Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow), as well as medical personnel that have gathered to combat the disease (Jude Law, Laurence Fishburne and Kate Winslet), and examines the relationship between the spread of the virus itself and the international spread of panic which it causes.


Warrior Tommy Riordan (Tom Hardy) enlists the help of his father and former coach (Nick Nolte)


to help him train for an MMA tournament in which the winner receives the most prize money ever awarded for the sport. Meanwhile, Tommy’s estranged brother Brendan (Joel Edgerton) has entered the MMA amateur circuit to help pay some bills for his family. When Brendan becomes unexpectedly success- ful in the ring, he’s matched up with Tommy for an epic, culminating fight.

Abduction While surfing the Internet, Nathan (Taylor Lautner) discovers a picture of himself as a toddler on a website that specializes in miss- ing children. He soon realizes that his parents aren’t really his parents, but that they may be part of some cover-up based on a series of elaborate and persistent lies.


Dolphin Tale 3-D A young boy (Nathan Gamble) rallies his friends to help an injured dolphin—that lost its tail during an encounter with a crab trap—and gets a doctor (Morgan Freeman) to create a prosthetic limb for the dolphin. Ashley Judd


plays the boy’s mother and Harry Connick Jr. plays a veterinarian at a marine hospital which takes in the dolphin.


Killer Elite Action powerhouses Jason Statham and Clive Owen face off in this high-energy thriller. Statham, who plays a retired UK Air Service Agent, uses his special abilities to rescue his former mentor, played by Robert De Niro, from a group of assassins that answer to Owen.

50/50 Moderately successful mid-twenty-year-old Adam (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is unexpect- edly diagnosed with cancer. As his friend (Seth Rogen), girlfriend (Bryce Dallas Howard) and his mother (Anjelica Huston) try to support Adam, they must also deal with their own feelings about the diagnosis and treatment. The film is based on the real-life experiences of scriptwriter Will Reiser and is directed by Jonathan Levine. n
