Writing the Story Within

7-week online mentorship program 

“Australian Aborigines say that the big stories—the stories worth telling and retelling, the ones in which you may find the meaning of your life—are forever stalking the right teller, sniffing and tracking like predators hunting their prey in the bush.” - Robert Moss, Dreamgates

Have you ever had the feeling that you were being urged, called or even stalked by a story that wants to be expressed through you? The feeling that there is a something inside of you that wants to (or needs to) come through and be shared with the world? Perhaps this story has whispered to you in your early morning dreams… or screamed at you in the night, while driving down the highway on a cross-country road trip. Perhaps the story you feel called to share comes from a time when your own steps on life’s path pulsed with the rhythms of a great heroic journey, catalysing some clear and transformational realisation of truth. Perhaps you have been urged by others to tell your tale.

Perhaps the story that wants to be shared through you has

been revealing itself in the spontaneous telling of bedtime stories or in the wisdom you hear as you walk through dapple-lit trees, the breath of leaves gracing your skin... dew drops landing on your head.

Perhaps you have begun to recognise that the whispered call

of the Muse has revealed herself in just about every moment of your life. In the conversations you hear as you walk through the city… in the laughter of your dancing children… in the sweet smell of your soul mate’s forehead.

Through the stories we live and tell, we give meaning to our

experience, opening doorways for others to see and encounter their own world in new ways. Through story, we honour the dreams of what has been and we weave new possibilities into the fabric of our reality.

One of the most powerful realisations for emerging writers is

that our greatest doorway to writing universally engaging stories often comes in our ability to simply connect with our own unique experience. By coming into contact with the epic tale we are already living, we naturally become great and heroic storytellers.

This is the fundamental goal of the Writing the Story Within

mentorship experience – to ignite the writing path in such a way that we blow past those layers of resistance, self-doubt and procrastination, and we fully embrace our capacity (and responsibility!) to bring bold and miraculous new stories to life on the page, on the screen and beyond. It is time! The world needs new stories. Who else is there to bring them through but we who feel the call?

If you are ready to ignite your writing path, join us for the spring session of Writing the Story Within (www.writingthestorywithin.com), a 7-week online mentorship program devoted to aligning you with your true creative voice while building a dynamic daily writing practice and guiding your story visions into the world – starting 22nd September.

We are the conduits through which great stories must be told… What stories are ready to come through YOU?

Isha Foundation Australia, is pleased to announce the upcoming visit of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev to Australia in October 2011

On Saturday October 8th, Sadhguru will be conducting an evening meditation event, Evening with the Mystic at the Melbourne Convention Centre.

Dubbed Indias most rational mystic, with close to seven million adepts around the world, Sadhguru is not your typical guru. With a crackling wit and a healthy distaste for piety and cliché he is a mystic who keeps it real. Yet for all his savvy, Sadhguru's intensity and energy is boundless, and his presence can transport you into dimensions you never thought possible.

Indias most relevant and popular spiritual leader is coming

to Australia for a unique and magical evening. Marking a clear departure from mere customs and rituals, Sadhguru's scientific methods for self-transformation are both direct and powerful. Belonging to no particular tradition, Sadhguru incorporates and presents what is most valid for the contemporary life from the traditional sciences.

This evening will consist of a discourse by Sadhguru, a Q & A

session and will conclude with a guided meditation. The evening is open to everyone and will enhance your spiritual journey, no matter what path you are already on.

Isha Foundation Australia was established in September 2010, and

in less than a year more than 200 people have attended the powerful meditation programs. Sadhguru set up Isha Foundation 20 years ago as a non-religious, not-for-profit, public service organisation, which addresses all aspects of human wellbeing. From its powerful yoga programs for inner transformation to its inspiring rural projects for society, the foundation is dedicated to cultivate an inclusive culture for global harmony and progress.

Author of over 50 books, including Amazon bestseller Midnights

with the Mystic, Sadhguru speaks at the world's most prominent international leadership forums and to diverse groups he presented at the House of Lords in October 2010 and a few days later to a prominent English Football Team. His clarity and wisdom have earned him repeat invitations to address leaders at the World Economic Forum, the Australian Leadership retreat, Tallberg Forum, the UN Peace Summit and World Peace Congress. He has had interviews with the BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNNfn, and Newsweek International, and he has regular features in India's leading national newspapers. He is a visionary humanitarian who has applied his mastery of ancient wisdom and yoga to provide answers to the challenges we all face today.

Over 7 million people have benefited from Isha Yoga programs across

the world, including Australia. The 100% volunteer driven international non-profit organisation has over 150 centres all aimed at cultivating human wellbeing. At the core of the Foundation's activities is Ishas flagship program called Inner Engineering Technologies for wellbeing. Inner Engineering is offered as an intensive program for personal growth. Inner Engineering is a technology for wellbeing derived from the science of yoga. It offers 7 proven methods and guided meditations from

the distilled essence of yogic sciences to transform your life, and let you live at the peak of health, wellness and joy.

The Inner Engineering is essentially about finding access to a

dimension of intelligence, competence and perception which helps one transcend to higher levels of productivity and performance. Inner Engineering participants often report rejuvenated health and experience a deep, yet dynamic sense of peace following the program. Daily practitioners share that stress and anxiety gradually melt away, allowing more space for creativity and a constantly expanding sense of fulfillment.

The Inner Engineering online course consists of 7 online sessions

(90 minutes each) combined with guided meditation in each session. The meditation at the end of each session helps participants become clear about their desires and their goals for the future, as well as empowering them to attain peace and joy.

This is the very first time that Sadhguru is conducting a public event in Australia and it will be an evening not to be missed.
