Sherburne Hall Alive with Aladdin -continued from front page


by Len Lathrop The weekend saw Pelham Recreation’s production


of Aladdin in conjunction with the Pelham Community Theater and Arts “Penguin Players.” Under the direction of Janet Daigle the cast of 12 young people brought the story from the Middle-eastern folk tale of a boy, a genie and a magic lamp. The cast included Travis Wallaker as Aladdin, who also


was presented with the Penguin Award, an award voted by the cast. As Abu, Emily Pauquette; Lydia Safford as Jasmine, Jacob Dahlinger as Jafar, playing Leago was Lydia Lewis, while the Sultan was Anthony Bundock; Tom Daigle was the Genie, and Kayleigh Hydar was Apple Peddler. Thor the Silk Peddler was Kirk Hillson, the Incense Peddler was Calin Creedy, Jessica Graham as the Rug Peddler, and the Story Teller was Olivia Daigle. Behind the scenes were director Janet Daigle assisted


by Rob Dufor, Sally Casto, Cindy Ronning, Erin Buck, Laurie Lewis, Adam Pauquette, David Reidy and Andrea Harrison. The production was tape by Pelham TV under the direction of Jim Greenwood; watch for the play on PTV.
