Day 6: ST PETERSBURG: Surround yourself with one of the world’s largest art collections with a visit to the famous Hermitage Museum, which holds around 3 million exhibits, and then explore the historic Peter and Paul Fortress.
Day 7: ST PETERSBURG: Visit Catherine’s Palace in the town of Pushkin. Adorned with dramatic spires and elegant gold colouring, the palace, with its surrounding parks, is not to be missed.
Day 8: FLY ST PETERSBURG TO UK: As your adventure comes to a close you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.

Day 1: FLY UK TO MOSCOW: On arrival transfer to the Budapest Hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the first night of your Russian adventure.
Day 2: MOSCOW: A city sightseeing tour jump starts your first full day in Russia’s intriguing capital. A visit to the State Tretyakov Gallery helps to unravel the mystery and history of Moscow.
Day 3: MOSCOW: Explore the city further with a tour of the almighty Kremlin grounds and visit the historic Armoury, where you can view the largest Fabergé collection in the world.
Day 4: MOSCOW: Visit Moscow’s famous Metro System – an extensive underground museum in itself!
Afterwards indulge in a
spot of souvenir shopping in the Arbat district. Prepare to travel to St Petersburg by first class overnight train (2 berth compartment).
Day 5: ST PETERSBURG: Wake up in another of Russia’s greatest treasures! Transfer to the impressive Ambassador Hotel. After breakfast in the hotel, explore the city with a sightseeing tour.
