ITINERARY
Day 1: FLY UK TO MOSCOW: Start your thrilling adventure which begins in one stunning capital and ends in another! Fly to mysterious Moscow and transfer to the Cosmos Hotel. Relax with an evening meal.
Day 2: MOSCOW: Broaden your horizons with an introductory city tour of Moscow’s most famous sights including a visit to the mighty Red Square and the onion domed Novodevichy Convent.
Day 3: DEPART MOSCOW: Visit the magnificent Kremlin and historic Armoury where you can view the precious Fabergé Eggs. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and prepare for an evening departure to Irkutsk.
Day 4-6: ON TRAIN: These days are spent relaxing aboard the train, enjoying the unique Trans Mongolian experience.
Day 7: IRKUTSK: You have arrived in Irkutsk! After a city tour transfer to the Listvyanka settlement to enjoy a traditional lunch and visit the Open Air Ethnographic Museum. You are then transferred to the Legend of Baikal Hotel to unwind and prepare for the rest of your trip.
Day 8: DEPART IRKUTSK: Enjoy breakfast before departing for Ulan Bator by train.
Day 9: ON TRAIN: Reflect on your journey so far as you unwind on the train.
Day 10: ULAN BATOR: After arriving in Mongolia’s beautiful capital begin your journey to Terelj National Park. Explore the beautiful grounds with an exciting horse riding excursion. Spend lunch with a Nomad family and learn about their culture and way of life. Continue your Mongolian adventure by sleeping in a traditional Yurt.
Day 11: ULAN BATOR: Enjoy a city tour and view famous sights such as the historic Gandan Monastery, Natural History Museum, Bogd Khan Winter Palace, Zaisan Hill and Sukhe Bator Square. Afterwards transfer to the Edelweiss Hotel.
Day 12: DEPART ULAN BATOR: Refuel with a morning meal before transferring to the railway station for your departure to Beijing.
Day 13: BEIJING: On arrival to Beijing transfer to the Novotel Xin Qiao Hotel. Spend the rest of your day at leisure, or allow IntouristUK to help you make the most of your time and organise an optional excursion.
Day 14: FLY BEIJING TO UK: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
