Education. As one of the largest adult- education providers in Kent, the organisation boasts over 3,5000 courses including 700 new additions in the new 2011/2012 Course Directory. Learners, whatever there age, background and interests really are spoilt for choice! Working in association with a growing number of other local organisations, this year Kent Adult Education is now able to offer new and exciting courses including, Silversmithing, Art and Design, Vintage Jewellery, Zumba, Bookbinding and more, so there’s plenty to get you inspired.
“Our courses take place in some inspirational settings, too, including the Turner Contemporary, Canterbury
Cathedral, Meltdowns Studios and Poult Wood Golf Centre,” says Samantha Stonham.
Also included inside this year’s Course Directory is the new ‘Inspired’ supplement, in which you can read about some of the tutors, many of whom are practitioners in their own field as well as delivering exciting and motivating courses just for you. Read the success story of a student who’s now celebrating after having her work accepted for an exhibition at the prestigious V&A gallery.
