e-learning

As an applicant, you will have been given a login to My Dundee, the University’s virtual learning environment. Almost all modules at the University are supported online via My Dundee with online activities such as group discussions, online assessment, online submission and podcasts. You are also able to access many of these resources and activities on mobile devices through the free Blackboard Learn mobile app. Many Schools make use of the University’s online assessment software, ‘Questionmark Perception’ (QMP). You will be introduced to QMP by your School lecturing staff once your course begins.

The library

It’s no coincidence that the library’s main building stands right at the heart of the campus (no. 32 on campus map). With IT suites and a café, as well as all the research materials you are ever likely to need, you’ll probably find yourself spending much of your time there. Sign up for one of the Main Library tours (times and details in the Welcome Week programme at the end of this booklet) to ensure that you get the most out of your library.
