An evening of romantic and exciting Spanish Guitar music from El Moreno, featuring beautiful solo pieces by the great masters of the past such as ‘Granada’ and ‘Leyenda’ by Albenizí, memories of the Alhambraí by Tarrega, the much loved ‘Adagio’ theme by Rodrigo as well modern classics like ‘Cavatina’ and ‘Classical gas’.


The Wharf welcomes the much-lauded blues and folk cocktail that is guitar man Scott Matthews. Hugely talented and possessing an incredibly soulful vocal style that interweaves with his brilliant playing, critics have been making comparisons with everyone from Ry Cooder, Jeff Buckley and Nick Cave to Elliott Smith, Nick Drake and John Martyn. Expect a wonderful night of superbly crafted songs that reach out and wrap themselves around your heart with their emotional depth and vision.
