Delighted to celebrate its fi fth birthday this summer, Door Décor & More, on Sketty Cross, Swansea, is Wales’ only showroom dedicated to architectural ironmongery!

“Architectural what?” I hear you ask…well, that’s door and window fi ttings (or ‘furniture’) to you and me! Well, actually, they sell much more than door handles and window fi ttings, but that’s enough to start with for now.

A little bit of history fi rst; fi ve years ago, father and daughter team, Viv Williams, of Universal Hardware Supplies Ltd, and Angela Morris, realised that, other than the big ‘sheds’, there was a complete lack of choice for customers in Swansea who were looking for good, quality door and window fi ttings. Their then current showroom at the Enterprise Zone, had a steady fl ow of customers, referred to by builders and joiners, but they realised if they had a family friendly showroom in the right location, then the business had great potential to grow. So, they seized the opportunity and opened their bright and airy showroom in Sketty Cross, under the

name of ‘Door Décor & More…’ Over the last fi ve years, the business has grown to encompass the ‘& more’ part of its name. Now, the showroom boasts fabulous ranges of internal door handles/ knobs, front door fi ttings and cabinet handles, as well as post boxes, electrical fi ttings and internal and external lighting. Recent additions to the shop include some truly exquisite bathroom fi ttings! The list is endless! They truly are specialists in their fi eld, and Angela and Manager Paul Thomas are always happy to offer friendly, professional advice to their clients.

“We feel that a showroom is a great place to build relationships with customers, where they can come and get a feel for the design and quality of the products. We are here as a constant, reliable contact and our customers can come to us for advice, time and time again,” enthuses Angela. “We are not a faceless website which disappears as soon as there is a problem and we hope that our customers appreciate what we pride ourselves on, good, old-fashioned customer service and professional advice.”

Door Décor & More is also proud to support British manufacturing. They are Swansea and south Wales’ exclusive stockists of many top British manufacturers including Turnstyle Designs, From the Anvil, Samuel Heath and Croft. And although many of their ranges are medium to high end products, Angela is quick to point out that the showroom also boasts a fi ne selection of

‘everyday essentials’ in a range of prices to suit all pockets. They are competitively priced and are confi dent that they can fi nd the right architectural ironmongery for their customers, whatever the budget, without compromising on quality.

So, why should you visit Door Décor & More? Well, if you haven’t already been convinced of the excellent quality of goods, the high level of customer service that you’ll receive or the vast range of prices available maybe you’ll be convinced by the vast choice and variety of styles and fi nishes that this local specialist can offer you; from traditional and reproduction hardware to cutting edge and contemporary styles.
