Inexperienced cyclist? Don’t worry as there’s a relaxed ride along mostly fl at cycle paths to the Wildfowl Centre at Penclacwydd. This ride ends with tea and cakes at a small Gower holding ‘Ddol Farm’ near Dunvant which is sure to keep you motivated throughout the journey!

Most rides stop off to see the sights along the way with breaks at cafés or pubs. You will be guaranteed plenty of fresh air, exercise and a new perspective on our wonderful Gower.

To celebrate your achievement, why not head down to the

Festival Party at the Gower Heritage Centre, Parkmill on the last evening of the event, 17th September at 7pm. It’s the perfect way to reward yourself and refl ect on your experiences. Live music coupled with a great venue, delicious food and a licensed bar will ensure you relax and unwind after all your hard work! Entry: £5, Children Free (Hosted by Gower Heritage Centre).

The price of each ride is £3 but you’d be silly not to take advantage of the new Festival Pass, which for £5 entitles participants to take part in as many rides as you wish. Children under 16 are free, but must be accompanied by an adult. To pre-book your place for any of the rides, print out and complete the booking form available at www.gowercyclingfestival.org

For full details of the festival contact the event organiser, David Naylor on 01792 233755.
