et within lush tropical gardens with glittering free-form pool, waterfalls and gently swaying palms, the Annabelle, a T anos Hotel,


is renowned for its outstanding cuisine, impeccable service and deluxe accommodation. My partner and I decided to stay at the Annabelle whilst visiting Cyprus and we were met on arrival by George, the director of guest services, who welcomed us both with cool towels and a complimentary drink. T ere are 218 airy rooms and suites to choose from at


the Annabelle, each with a private balcony or terrace, complimentary WiFi and marble bathrooms. Additional features in suites range from private plunge pools and heated Jacuzzis to working fi replaces and Grecian styling. We were shown to our Garden Studio Suite which was situated in the hotel’s tropical gardens. T e new deluxe Greek-style suite consisted of an open-plan bedroom and living room plus a private terrace with our own heated whirlpool and spectacular sea views of Paphos harbour and castle. Completely redesigned and refurbished this year by the renowned USA interior designers, BAMO of San Francisco, the suite featured handcrafted furniture and bespoke fabrics. T e spacious bathroom had wall to ceiling glass and the one particular unique aspect was the fabulous, completely private, outdoor rain shower. T e secluded feel and Jacuzzi made the suite the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We were spoilt for choice when it came to dining options at the Annabelle; with four restaurants, fi ve bars and the use of the Annabelle’s sister hotel, Almyra, there

really was something for everyone. Asteras is Annabelle’s romantic choice of dining and off ers intimate and innovative gourmet dining at candlelit tables overlooking the illuminated water gardens. Amorosa is the hotel’s signature fi ne-dining restaurant and is a haven of culinary sophistication. T e restaurant serves contemporary French cuisine in a serene atmosphere accompanied by a classical pianist. T e Fontana off ers an extensive buff et breakfast, vibrant theme nights and a la carte selections, whilst the Mediterraneo serves
