Saturday, August 13 The GFWC Hudson Community Club will hold a Library Lawn Sale, rain or shine, on the lawn of the Hills Memorial Library, Ferry and Library Streets, in Hudson. Funds
raised from this event will go to benefit the Benson’s Butterfly Garden and ongoing projects at the Rodgers Library and other projects in Hudson and beyond.
Litchfield Community Church, 259 Charles Bancroft Highway, Litchfield, will hold its Deacons Yard Sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. All proceeds will go to benefit the food pantry. A community breakfast will also be served from 8-11 a.m.
Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 The Hudson-Litchfield Rotary will be holding its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 from 8-11:30 a.m. at the Alvirne High School Cafeteria, 200 Derry Road, Hudson. The cost is $5 per person and children under 6 eat free. Also on display will be an Arts Exhibit of student artwork. Proceeds benefit the Rotary’s scholarship funds for graduation Hudson and Litchfield Seniors.
Wednesday, August 17 Litchfield Area Garden Club is holding a garden tour and presentation by Bee Rich Apiaries at 6 p.m. at 91 Pinecrest Road, Litchfield. Rain date will be Thursday, August 18. This event is free to the public.
Sunday, August 21 The East Coast Camaro Club is having its 30th Annual All Vehicle Show at the Hudson Hills House Fields, 201 Derry Road, across from Alvirne High School. The proceeds benefit “Merrimack Valley Hospice” and your admission is tax
deductible. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 Vehicles in each of the 38 specialty classes. Dash plaques and goodie bags given to the first 300 entries! Listen to the disc jockey spinning the tunes from the 50’s and 60’s and enjoy live entertainment by the Beachbreakers. Also on display will be some fine examples of each generation of Camaro and a History of the East Coast Camaro Club! Burgers, fries and other fare will be served in our own ECCC Kitchen all day long. Spectator admission is $2 per person, and children under 12 are free. Car show
entries can be made the day of the show, and entry fees should be made payable to “East Coast Camaro Club”. The first 300 car show entries receive a dash plaque and goodie bag. magazine recycling/swap program. Bring current magazines during SHP hours and take others home free. Please enter via the ramp at the rear of the building at 18 School Street. Tuesdays, August 16, and 23 The Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson is offering drop-in computer help hours. You can come in once a week during the open hour, when a librarian answers questions and helps with specific problems you have encountered when working with Microsoft Office, searching the Web, using the

Cross Country: First practice is a short informational meeting for all runners and parents on Monday, August 22 at 10 a.m. (should be about 20-30 minutes), second practice will be Tuesday, August 23 at 2:45 p.m. Girls Volleyball: Monday, August 22 through Friday, August 26 from 3-5 p.m. each day in the LMS Gym. You must bring knee pads! Girls Soccer: Monday, August 22 from 10 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, August 23 from 3-5:30 p.m., and Thursday, August 25 from 10 a.m.-noon, all at Darrah Pond Field. Wednesday, August 17 and Thursday, August 18 The Hudson Police Department is sponsoring the AARP Driving Safety Program. The class will be held in the Anne Seabury Community Room at the Hudson Police Department located at One Constitution Drive in Hudson. The class is
two days consisting of four hours of instruction from 4-8 p.m. The cost for the course is reasonable. This course is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. Participating individuals will learn how to avoid traffic hazards and may be eligible for auto insurance discounts (for more information, contact your insurance agent). Now – Sunday, August 14 Hudson Youth Baseball will hold online registration for Fall Baseball for players age 6-12. To register your child for fall baseball, visit

October. There are four divisions: Step-up, Majors, AAA and Rookie. The registration fee for ages 6-11 is $50; and for age 12 is $70.
