Butcombe Brewery (unlike many others) would never buy a pub just to sell beer… the pub itself has to add to the ethos of Butcombe. We bought 6 pubs from Simon Whitmore as part of the original Brewery acquisition in 2003, and have painstakingly added a further 14 over the past 8 years. There is no fi nite numbers endgame, but rest assured if the right pub becomes available then Butcombe will be at the forefront of the queue to buy it!

The Mill at Rode is a beautiful riverside bar and restaurant set in its own glorious grounds. The Mill makes a wonderful venue for drinking and dining with friends either in the sympathetically designed restaurant itself or on the deck overlooking the river. In addition the Mill has gained an excellent reputation as a wedding venue and has become popular as a place to hold away from it all team meetings and conferences.

THE FROG AND FIDDLE, CHELTENHAM

The Frog has got to be the most atmosheric venue in Cheltenham. All Major Sporting Events are shown on one of 12 screens. Premiership, England internationals, FA cup and much more. The Barn, within the Frog, stages 3 live music gigs a week and the newly refurbished GREEN ROOM (especially for the ladies!) opens in September 2011. Bring your own food!
