Urban Ag Council membership renewals Merge process continues as renewal time approaches

With the overwhelming approval by our members to merge three industry associations into one (UAC), foremost in the Board of Direc- tors’ thoughts continues to be sensitivity to the economic climate, and to our members’ pocket- books.

Currently, the Board is thoroughly examining the membership dues and benefit structures that MALTA, GTA and GSPA respectively had in place prior to the merger. By January 1, 2012 their goal is to establish UAC membership fees and related benefits that combine the three dif- ferent structures in a way that works for all of our members.

Until the new structure is in place, all members/ companies will be invoiced on their regular re- newal date at the level paid in 2010. Te renewal invoice you receive will be from “Te Georgia Urban Ag Council,” and payment may be made by check or credit card, which should be re- turned to the UAC office in Commerce, GA.

Former MALTA members Renewals were sent out mid-August for September 1 renewal.

Former GTA members As your renewal date arrives, you will be billed at your former level.

• Turfgrass Professional Level (which is for one individual) You will be invoiced at that level but given the option to change categories so that all in your company can enjoy the benefits of UAC membership.

Former GSPA members Renewals will be sent mid-December for January 1 renewal.

Multiple memberships If you were formerly a member of multiple associations, we will contact you to discuss renewal.

Please let us know if you have any questions!
