leneMotley hasmade a career of examining and encouraging diversity. She holds a bachelor’s in in- dustrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, anM.B.A fromthe Univer- sity of Chicago and a Ph.D with honors from The University of Pittsburgh Busi- ness School. Prior to obtaining her cur- rent position, she helped to spearhead Robert Morris University’s Master’s of Science in Human Resources Manage- ment program. She has also studied multicultural diversity, trust, ethical be- havior and sustainability. She is chair of the Hiring and Employment Committee for the Council on Institutional Equity, co-chair of the Education Sub-committee on University Sustainability and heads the business school’s Sustainability Committee, among other commitments to the university. She conducts indepen- dent consultations on diversity, strategic human resource and organizational be- havior for several businesses. She sits on boards for the Bayer Nonprofit Center forManagement, the Children’sMuseum of Pittsburgh and the Fund to Advance Minority Education (FAME). Motley and her husband, David, run the Inner City Junior Tennis Program of Pittsburgh.

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh A legal professional for more than a decade, Kimberly Moses applies her ex-


pertise to helping the community in several personal endeavors. Currently an at- torney with UPMC’s Corporate Legal Department, Moses is responsible for the affairs of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. She is a member of Chil- dren’s board of trustees and sits on the hospital’s patient safety and civil distur- bance committees. In her spare time, she provides pro-bono work to families settling custody disputes for the Allegheny County Custody Conciliation Pro- gram. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Judicial Eval- uation Commission. Also an entrepreneur, Moses operates a sterling silver jew- elry business through Silpada Designs Inc., and has achieved sales ofmore than $25,000 over the past year. She resides in Greentree with her husband, Darnell and their two sons.
