A community-driven position with BNY Mellon is only one way Maria D. Anderson helps to make the region a better place to live. During her 17-year stint with the company she has taken part in several philanthropic endeavors, including serv- ing on the Corporate Affairs Community Partnership team, which was recognized by PR Newswire with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award. As global manager for the company's Service Recognition Program, she makes an effort to recog- nize BNY Mellon's social service efforts across the globe. She also oversees the Community Partnership Concierge Pro- gram, a program that brings in more than $4.1 million in donations and company matching funds from employee dona- tions. Her community responsibilities in- clude serving as co-chair and committee member of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development's ATHENA Awards program and luncheon. She also leads BNY Mellon volunteer teams partic- ipating in events held by the Greater Pitts- burgh Community Food Bank, August Wil- son Center for African-American Culture and Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, among others. She lead the company's volunteers for the BNY Mellon Pathfinders 2011 Youth Workforce Develop- ment Conference, which was hosted by Youthworks and Urban Youth Action.

counsel of Penn State Univer- sity Justice Cynthia A. Baldwin is a key decisionmaker helping to mold the educations of fu- ture graduates. The Penn State graduate holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a mas- ter’s in American literature. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law. She also holds certificates from several differ- ent universities, including New York University School of Law and Harvard University. Prior to joining the university she worked as a partner with Duane Morris LLP and served as a justice on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She has served on the boards of sev- eral professional and commu- nity service organizations, has been published in several legal journals and has received in- ternational honors.
