NEW DIRECTOR APPOINTED AT DCG DAVID KING has joined DCG as a Director of Corporate and Capital Markets where he will expand and develop a new range of structures for clients in the global market. David has nearly 25 years’


experience working in the offshore market across Cayman, Hong Kong, Luxembourg and Jersey. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, he has worked most recently for Standard Bank in Jersey as Head of Corporate Fiduciary.


EXPANDED ROLE FOR BUTTERFIELD MANAGER RICHARD SAUNDERS, Senior Manager responsible for Butterfield Bank (Guernsey) Limited’s asset management business, has been promoted to Head of European Asset Management, which includes responsibility for the Bank’s onshore asset management business in London. Richard has been


managing discretionary investment portfolios for private clients since 1991, and will be instrumental in the strategic development of the bank’s asset management.


WORLDWIDE ROLE FOR STEP JERSEY FOUNDER ROSEMARY MARR, one of the founders of the Jersey branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), has been appointed Chairman of STEP Worldwide’s Education Committee. Rosemary is a regular


speaker at STEP and other professional technical conferences. In her new role, she will lead the society’s efforts to develop and build on its current educational offering to members.


SENIOR APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED AT LLOYDS BANKING GROUP Simon Prescott (pictured) has been appointed Island Director, Jersey, and continues as Head of Islands Corporate Banking. Based in Jersey, Simon’s role also includes liaising with the regulator and overseeing community affairs. Wendy Leedham has been


confirmed as Head of Islands Retail Banking. This role covers Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.


EX-GFSC DIRECTOR JOINS KLEINWORT BENSON STEPHEN TREVOR has joined Kleinwort Benson as Head of Compliance and Risk for Guernsey. Stephen spent 11 years


at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC), having joined in 1999 as Assistant to the Director of Fiduciary Services and Enforcement. He was promoted to Assistant Director, and in 2004 became Director of the Fiduciary and Intelligence Services Division.
