Maintaining Active Status (Annual Registration)


In April of each year, organizations wishing to remain active for the next academic year shall submit an Annual Registration Form. Registration opens April 2 and closes April 30, 2012. In addition, organizations are required to attend Student Organization Training on Sunday, April 15, 2012 and submit a completed Anti-Hazing Agreement.


Inactive Status If an organization is inactive for one semester, the organization must submit an Annual Registration Form when registration opens again (April of each year). Organizations that are inactive for one or more semesters are required to complete a New Student Organization Petition Form and Annual Registration Form, along with updated constitution/bylaws when registration opens again.


Current Governing Documents Are Required Organizations that adopt new purposes or practices should update their constitution or bylaws and submit revised documents to the assistant director in CCI for review. Similarly, organizations that amend their constitution or bylaws should submit revised documents to the assistant director in CCI for review and record-keeping purposes.

Student Organization Resources Located in the lower level of CCI (West Wing) student organizations can access paper and paint for banners and student organization mailboxes. In the East Wing (Coates University Center, Suite 122) you can find:  Digital banner machine: The banner printer is available to advertise one-time events/programs FOR FREE. Orders take three class days to complete. Solid color backgrounds are not permitted. Limit two banners per event. Email Ben Newhouse a PDF or jpeg document.


 Info Desk TV advertisements: Promote your event on the TV at the Information Desk. Email a PowerPoint slide, jpeg or PDF document to cucoffice@trinity.edu.


 Info Desk P.O.S. device: When making a facility reservation on T-SPACE, indicate a request to use the Info Desk P.O.S. device in the “comments” section. Include the student organization account number.
