Europe's fi rst ever Ben 10 roller coast- er ride opened at Drayton Manor, UK, this Easter, following an exclusive deal between the park and Turner CN Enter- prises, the brand's licensor. Children's programme Ben 10 is broadcast on the Cartoon Network and follows the adven- tures of 10-year-old Ben Tennyson, who is able to turn into a variety of alien su- perheroes. The new coaster, a Vekoma Junior Boomerang with Ben 10 branding, called Ben 10: Ultimate Mission, launches passengers forward on their fi rst tour of the 180m track, hitting speeds of 55kph.

A new 4D effects theatre from UK- based supplier Simworx has opened at the RAF Museum in London. Installed within a free-standing enclosure built by Simworx, in the museum’s Historic Hangar build- ing, the new theatre allows visitors to experience a variety of aviation content which provides the his- tory of aviation in stereoscopic 3D. Among the fi lms being shown is the award-winning B17 – The Mission, and Ravine Race for younger visitors.
