Reiki, in its apparently limitless possibilities, has an intensely humanising capacity and offers potential for
the alleviation of suffering.
Reiki puts us in contact with the possibility of understanding and enacting a higher level of consciousness and of framing a new social order. Reiki provides a means of moving away from older forms of social domination to greater levels of autonomy, self reliance, compassion and the civilized longevity of mankind.
Reiki has the effect of empowering individuals in ways that
transcend the constraints of convention. Independence of thought and spirit, the ability to work comfortably across the boundaries of space and time, acceptance of a world in which the miraculous is a definite possibility makes reiki channels different from the average person.
Reiki is a “gift”, something precious given to humanity to sustain
our existence and support our development and progression towards enlightenment. The gift, however, is bigger than we are. We are asked to grow up, to embrace a sense of purpose, to have hope, to work towards a higher level of existence we can barely glimpse. It can be an ecstatic experience, a deep, passionate awareness of the mystery and magnificence of our human existence and of our unity with all living things.

From my earliest days I was given a name which clearly separated, defined and divided me from All That Was. I was given
words and language which tended to only describe my
singular experience of separation
from the Divine. Language itself was the very expression of separation and division yet it also allowed me to comprehend, describe and communicate a dual experience of being both divided and undivided at the same time. A practical example was I could bring my hands together to create the sound of a clap. The Great Mystery lay in the experience of there being two separate hands, yet at the same time, also one body. So too could I experience a ‘self’ which was divided and separate from the Divine, yet at the same time a ‘self’ that was One With All That Was, reminding me that I was really confused about my identity, which was funny really, because so was I.
DUALITY

Is there a divide between us and the Divine? There is a divide, but it’s an illusion in our mind. What a trip we all go on as we make our way through the evolutionary cycle from separation back to oneness. I’m sure all looks possible, maybe even easy from the vantage point of unity, when we leave our true state of oneness for another adventure into separation/ duality/ physical birth. But when we land into physical form everything feels so real. So how do we transcend this illusion? The only way I know is through love and acceptance, to love and accept all that we and others are in this present moment – the good, the bad and the ugly. This includes our ability to accept and love the repressed emotional memories that tell us we are not worthy of this divinity.
By loving and accepting the illusion, we dissolve the divide, and this brings us back home again to the blissful experience of our truly divine nature.

‘Can form be separate from the Creator?’ What a perfect question to ask when exploring duality!
Form is not separation necessarily. It’s actually possible to experience form without experiencing separation. When we see with our eyes that we are separate from each other, that is not because we are in form. That is because we are separate. Separation is a state of consciousness only made possible by the existence of the ego. If it were conscious, a flower would not see itself as separate from anything else because it has no ego. Just as very young children think their parents are part of themselves, before their ego starts to gain strength.
So in absolute terms, the answer to the question: ‘Can form be separate from the Creator?’, has to be NO. Anything from the Creator has to be part of the Oneness. However, in relative terms, the answer will be dependent upon how much separation we have signed up for at the time of asking.
So for those who choose negative emotions, and the stories and dramas of our lives, in preference to Love and the beautiful states of peace and harmony which emanate from Love, then our experience will be significant separation. The more we choose Love on the other hand, the more we will experience one-ness and compassion for others.
If we prioritise Love over everything else (i.e., over ‘me and my life’) then the boundaries that create separation will dissolve. Miraculously, we actually are in the process of becoming as One Heart.
