To have an entire industry ready to
abandon the business entirely shows spectacular incompetence
There’s a moment in every ‘The Apprentice’ programme, in whichever country it is being syndicated, in which the intrepid junior has to pluck up the courage to fatefully pitch their pitifully naive plan for global success. On the receiving end is the incredulous ‘Boss,’ who with gleeful scorn proceeds to eviscerate the wannabe, crushing their hopes, dreams and aspirations - it’s great telly.
The only problem I can see, is that this doesn’t seem to happen in government - at least not the full scenario. The first part, the impractical, illogical planning and execution certainly takes place. What
doesn’t appear to happen, at least not internally, is the final bit - the analysis by someone who knows the subject inside out and who would ridicule not just the person, but their family too, for giving birth to such a fool.
The ‘Apprentice’ residing in the offices of the government of Northern Cyprus responsible for trebling gaming licence fees and raising taxes by 20 per cent needs to complete this final step, and hold this policy up to scrutiny, preferably of the very public kind (maybe in stocks). To have an entire industry not simply up-in-arms, but ready to abandon the business entirely, shows such spectacularly incompetence
We’ve had something of a change here at G3 Towers, investing in a new corporate sales office with modern facilities and 50sq.m. of space with which we intend to expand our commercial reach. We are launching a new product next month, an iGaming Review, which details, for land- based operators, the changing iGaming regulatory environment in Europe. We are concentrating upon explaining the legislation, the technology and the opportunities that this regulatory change will bring in our usual in-depth and exhaustive way. We hope you like it.
What is G3? Global Games and Gaming = G3
G3 is all about games. The games players want operators to buy. It's about the creation, the application and the ultimate experience of playing games from all types of sources, media and location. Think of the mantra - location, location, location and now think games, games, games - because without them you have no location. And without G3 you've no way of knowing what you might be missing. If you have one machine or a thousand, if you have a chain of casinos, a single site or whole arcade to fill, you need the very best products to attract your

that a withering tirade probably wouldn’t suffice. It would be nice to think such idiocy could be televised and used to affect rational U-turns and realistic outcomes... or perhaps now I’m the naive one, pitching something incredulous and totally unobtainable?
