SOUTH EAST ASIA Focus

A feast of Asia-focused table games and technology greeted visitors to TCSJohnHuxley

The development of TCSJohnHuxley’s Gaming Floor Live table performance system continued at the G2E Asia show in Macau with the announcement of a strategic product alliance that enables Gaming Floor Live to utilise Ipsotek’s Intelligent Video Analytics technology to capture information at gaming tables. In the Asian gaming market this is particularly important as it expands the reach of Gaming Floor Live from roulette, where TCSJohnHuxley’s Chipper Champ supplies the game information, to card games - the mainstay of Asia’s market.

The Ipsotek video analytics technology allows Gaming Floor Live to collect activity and event information from gaming tables either using table mounted cameras or the casino’s existing CCTV system. The information is then turned into data that can be used to trigger performance-related alarms as well as being stored in a central database, where it is used to analyse occupancy rates, turnover, player behaviour and staff productivity. Gaming Floor Live feeds information directly back to floor staff allowing casinos to make real time decisions on game speed, pricing, tables occupancy and improve productivity and the casino average win percentage.

In addition to Gaming Floor Live, TCSJohnHuxley showed its newly developed secure, electronic version of baccarat, incorporating an illuminated playing surface to identify the winning bets and a fully integrated dice shaker, giving integrity to the game sequence whilst protecting against the possibility of a non-shake or double shake of the dice. The dice shaker also has a choice of dealer interface systems and optional fully Automatic Dice Recognition System.

TCSJohnHuxley Sic Bo electronics and tables are built to withstand the rigorous demands of 24-hour Asian operations and are regarded as the most robust and reliable available on the market. As a result, over 400 units have been installed across Asia and Australasia with recent successes seeing 26 units at Galaxy Macau, and in Singapore 49 units at Marina Bays Sands and 37 units at Resorts World Sentosa with an additional 10 units on order.

Table designs are customised to each property incorporating the latest colours, finishes, and materials available to complement any interior or theme. Both Sic Bo 50 and 106 are available as a single or double table and Sic Bo 50 can also be

incorporated into a blackjack style table and layout.

TCSJohnHuxley’s Sic Bo table games enable operators to integrate the optional use of a Chipper Champ Plus or Chipper Champ2 chip sorting machine to maximise chipping efficiency and keep the game moving as fast as possible, due to heavy chip action. To improve player appeal and drive increased participation, there are also two types of winning number display available for use with Sic Bo Tables. The Animator is a LED matrix display and the e-FX Classic is an LCD display. Both show stunning graphics and historical game data/results, as well as graphics, which can be customised to include an individual property’s logo.

Operators in Asia are incorporating all these elements to give them the most dynamic possible experience for their players while delivering all important information back to management. The linking of Gaming Floor Live to TCSJohnHuxley’s OmniBaccarat display has seen 380 units installed at the Galaxy Macau, each linked to an Angel shoe to deliver stunning real-time results for players. The further adoption of Ipsotek’s video analytics will subsequently reveal the same level of deep drill-down information as currently generated by Gaming Floor Live for roulette, across all card games, including the all-important game of baccarat in Asia.

TCSJohnHuxley further announced the signing of an agreement with SASIAN Gaming to distribute two new Baccarat games, BaccaraX and BetterBAC.

BaccaraX and BetterBAC are simple, but highly flexible, commission free games, which are incredibly easy to learn, ensuring instant player acceptance and minimal staff training. These commission free Baccarat variants are played according to traditional Baccarat card drawing rules and can be played on any size Baccarat table for even greater flexibility.

BaccaraX offers a range of 12 Multiplier Bonus pay tables with varying house advantage percentages that give operators flexibility with price-setting, while also serving as ready-made promotional tools. Operators now have the ability to boost play in quiet areas or during off-peak hours by setting lower prices, or to use different Multiplier Bonus pay tables for different table limits, gaming pits or rolling commission structures.

Finally, BetterBAC offers a unique combination of house advantage, productivity and player appeal. The built- in patent pending Bonus Feature and additional payments add a new dimension to Baccarat enjoyment, while the superior game pace and house advantage provide unrivalled revenue potential.
