Bali and Lombok
There is just so much more to see when one ventures into the heart of Bali, and this year we went one step further and ventured into Lombok (just to see what it has to offer). This year I took a Nikon D3s and discovered that it gave me a new freedom to take exceptionally clear images in extreme low light, and at the same time freeing me from the constraint of a tripod. Our trip this year took in Mengwi, Permuteran, Amed, Gilli Trawangan, Sengiggi, Mataram, pottery and weaving villages in Lombok, and finally Sekotong in southern Lombok.
