with her. For those of us that have had the great pleasure of lov- ing an F1 savannah, it is like nothing else on the earth, they unbreakable bond and joy they give us is incredible and hard to explain in words. Daisy was more like a little person in furry clothing to me than a cat!
As time went by, I started treating every day caring for the orphan kittens as a blessing that we made it through one more day, and each day we took it one day at a time. There were many days, when things were not going as smoothly as they could have, but gradually we kept getting by and the babies grew stronger and bigger everyday...Daisy’s earlier litters of kittens were always wonderful over the years, so it was not surprising that one of her boys was already spoken for before birth. Since I knew his family was waiting for him and he would have a great home I was able to come to terms that I would need to let go of him one day and let him join his new family. I also knew hand raising early generation savannah kittens was no easy task and each day was “touch and go” for quite some time, so I opted not to advertise her three girls until we were at least “out of the woods” so to speak.
I became more and more attached to my little orphan babies, and this was compounded by the fact that each of these angels served as little walking memorials of Daisy herself. It was not long before I named her three little girls, Faith, Hope and Charity. As most of you know many times when I breeder names a cat, that usually means they are keepers! I decided there was no way I could let these three girls go, I decided to keep them all ( how could I choose just one?) as I believed Daisy gifted me with them the day she departed

this world. My girls are now 6 months old (at the time of writ- ing this story) and they still are very much my little kittens, and I think they always will be. Faith, Hope and Charity will be my forever cherished pets and if they should so choose to carry on Daisy’s legacy, I would be proud they did.
