Early Birds Invite Members to Mix It Up

MAC members at no extra charge – all before 7 a.m. on weekday mornings. With such variety available, why settle for the “same- old, same-old” exercise routine? What better way to add interest, challenge and fun to an August morning than to try a new activity? The Early Birds are initiating Mix-It-Up

T

Week, Monday, Aug. 8 through Friday, Aug. 12. Everyone is encouraged to try a new workout each day of the week – for fun and potentially for a prize. Here’s how Mix-It-Up Week works: • Participants may pick up a Mix-It-Up

score sheet at the Front Desk in the lobby or at the Center Desk in the Exercise and Conditioning Room between Monday, Aug. 1 and Friday, Aug. 12. Sheets are emailed as an attachment to the Early Bird contact list. • Plan ahead or be spontaneous! The

score sheet lists times and meeting places for the classes, workouts, swims, games, cycling, walks and runs available each day. • Entrants try a different activity each day and check it off on the score sheet. • Prizes are awarded based on the number of different activities participants try during the week. Those who try a different activity every day of the week (five different activities) will be eligible for the grand prize drawing. • Completed score sheets may be handed

in before Monday, Aug. 15 at the central desk in the E & C Room or before 7 a.m. at the prize-drawing event on Monday, Aug. 15, at 7 a.m. at the Gallery of Champions. –Margaret Noel WM
