The core activities of the club revolve around the E&C Room and studios. This fact was recently been rein- forced by member responses in the 2010 Membership Survey that placed these as the No. 1 and No. 2 areas, respectively, as most important to members. Currently the open terrace allows a limited number of members to exercise in an open-air environment. This space is used, as expected, primarily in summer. An enclosed terrace would provide more opportunities for a greater number of members throughout the year. A recent study took a step forward toward making the enclosed terrace a reality.
