Eat Local Challenge Begins August 1st

ocal First will host the Eat Local Chal- lenge this August and September with
many events highlighting the importance of a sustainable West Michigan food sys- tem, featuring tours, workshops, presenta- tions, and more. As part of the Eat Local Challenge, they are asking West Michigan residents to consider taking the 10x10 Pledge. Participants in the 10x10 Pledge commit to shifting $10 out of their current food budget toward local food sources each week for ten weeks. Events run throughout August and September - stay tuned to
