Located on the main road toward Rhossili, the Gower Kite Centre, at Pitton Cross, can solve all your holiday headaches in one! Whether you’re camping in Gower and have forgotten some essential items, set off for a day at the beach and got nothing fun to take or you simply need the perfect, local, holiday gift; the Gower Kite Centre has all your essential beach and holiday items under one roof.
The newly refurbished shop means that there’s more space to stock more unique, Welsh and Gower produce. Pick up all of your holiday presents here! From Rhossili tea towels, Welsh lovespoons and Gower calendars to Welsh tea, fudge, waffl es and laver bread oatcakes, accompanied by chunky local chutney, jams, jellies and preserves. Get kitted out for the beach with fl ip fl ops, buckets and spades, beach towels, body boards and cool surfer T-shirts and shorts.
Pick up some Gower fresh burgers and an instant light BBQ and you’re good to go for the whole day! If you are off for a fi shing trip then stop by to pick up fl oats, weights, lures and a variety of frozen bait.
A far wider range of camping and caravanning supplies are now in store including kettles, camping stoves, gas, kitchen equipment and tent pegs and the shop is well stocked with a wide selection of Welsh and local produce for all your basic grocery needs.
Add to this the vast range of unusual and quality items such as professional juggling equipment, skateboards, all terrain boards and the huge selection of Ozone and Cirrus kites, children’s kites and character kites, and you’ve got an ‘emporium’ which caters for everyone, all year round.
The shop is open from 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week and you can always be assured of a friendly, personal service at this family- run business.
